Highlights

As part of the 13th Edition of „Cancer doesn’t hurt. Get tested and live!” specialists of Face and Body Institute performed 96 examinations and specialized consultations! They included:

✔ 27 examinations of skin nevi (up to 5 lesions), for early detection of skin cancer lesions. The tests were performed with the Mole-Mate device, about which more information can be found here: http://raknieboli.pl/badanie/

✔ 20 soft tissue ultrasound examinations – the choice was one of the areas: abdomen or thyroid, or breast examination.

✔ 13 trichological examination or diagnosis of the scalp and hair. This is an examination using a microcamera to diagnose the cause: hair loss, baldness, dry or oily scalp, dandruff and others. In addition, the trichologist tailored home scalp care and provided products for a weekly treatment.

✔ 13therapeutic cosmetology consultations are skin analysis, especially for skin problems: juvenile acne, acne after 30 years of age, rosacea, paroxysmal erythema, skin atopy, sensitive and allergic skin, and excessive facial and body hair. In addition, the specialist tailored home skin care and provided products for a week-long treatment. The consultation could be combined with a trial of laser treatment – vascular closure or permanent hair removal of the face and body, with QuadroStar Pro Yellow and LightSheer devices.

✔ 13 corrective cosmetology consultations combined with the first treatment of scars or stretch marks is a meeting with a cosmetologist on the treatment of skin with acne, post-surgical and post-surgical scars and stretch marks. The specialist examined the scar, determined the extent of the scar and selected the appropriate type of treatment. ✔ 13 consultations with a psychodietitian, which included topics on genodiet, genotesting, diet-related diseases, among others. In addition, pro-inflammatory products that can affect the return of cancer, and antioxidants to offset stress. An important part of the meeting was the topic of dietary assertiveness – „So what if I know – if I can’t help myself?”.

In addition, each participant had the opportunity to take part in:

✔ meeting with personal trainer Slawomir Szablowski of RadioActive Body, who provided consultations on training for people after surgery or treatment

✔ tasting of healthy cocktails and juices: multi-vegetable, multi-fruit, cleansing known as vitamin bombs and detoxifying juices

✔ tasting of personalized diet catering – Ideal Catering
