How does the treatment work?

Laser hair removal is an effective method of permanent hair reduction that delivers a beam of light deep into the skin. The laser energy is absorbed by melanin – the pigment in the hair bulb – and converted into heat. This high temperature destroys the hair follicle and its matrix, which are responsible for regrowth.

The result is a gradual, lasting reduction in hair. At Face and Body Institute we work with top-quality medical lasers: the Cocon Medical diode laser offers high working power and Ultra Short Pulse technology, delivering very short pulses – from just 3 ms.

Thanks to this, the follicles are precisely heated to a temperature that destroys the hair structure without damaging the skin. An advanced cooling system ensures comfort even over larger body areas. The Lumenis laser comes from a global leader with more than 50 years of experience.

It offers a wide range of wavelengths and pulse-personalisation options, so the therapy can be adapted to every skin phototype – including darker tones. The unique Smooth Pulse technology and ChillTip cooling make treatments exceptionally comfortable, even on sensitive areas.
