Very often in our skin care articles we tell you about the best treatments and products that will regenerate, nourish, brighten or moisturize your skin.
We often mention that a basic element of good skin condition is what we supply to the body through meals. This time, too, we decided to focus on this very area – meals precisely – to bring you closer to what should be on the plate of every person who cares about firm skin!
Why is this so important? It’s a bit like with flowers: we can splash them with the best conditioners or shiners, but if we don’t supply them with water they still won’t survive. When we additionally make sure that they get the right fertilizers along with water, we can watch them get stronger and more beautiful day by day! 🙂 Besides, we tell you more than once that most skin problems start with poor nutrition. Sometimes indirectly, and through the diseases that junk food has already managed to create in our body.
But to the point – if you want to strengthen and firm your skin you should certainly enrich your diet with plant-based ingredients, such as green tea extract, ginkgo biloba or soy isoflavones.
A novelty in this regard is proxylan, a derivative of tree sugar, which achieves incredible results in regenerating our skin. Another desirable ingredient is vitamin C, one of the most potent antioxidants, which we wrote about here: http://bit.ly/witaminacfbi. You can find it in natural products such as peppers, tomatoes and potatoes. Here it is worth noting that systematic eating of vegetables rich in this vitamin strengthens blood vessels and firms the skin.
In addition to the previously mentioned vegetables, you should also fill your plates with plenty of lettuces and beans.
Foods such as cauliflower, peas, mushrooms, whole-grain bread and yeast contain vitamin H (biotin), which is responsible for the proper functioning of the skin and hair, while a deficiency can lead to psoriatic skin lesions on the hands, legs and arms, or dryness and discoloration.
When we eat egg yolks, meat and green leafy vegetables – we will provide the body with pantothenic acid, which is essential for every living cell – it participates, among other things, in tissue regeneration and improves skin pigmentation, which is beneficial to our beauty. When this acid is lacking in our body, one of the effects can be… slow healing of wounds.
For fans of sprouts we have good news – you can devour them in unlimited quantities 🙂
During plant germination, nutrients are stored in the seeds. They collect there under the influence of moisture and temperature. Most importantly, the enzymes in them are transformed into compounds easily absorbed by the body. If you often eat sprouts or want to start, you should think about growing them on your windowsill. Eating sprouts not only benefits the condition of our skin, but also prevents infections – as they contain vitamin C to stimulate immunity.
Particularly beneficial are lentil sprouts that lower bad cholesterol and have a blood-forming effect.
On the other hand, wheat germ and soybeans are rich in iron, copper and vitamin B6, so they relieve stress and fatigue. And as we know, stress and fatigue have a huge impact on accelerating the aging process of our skin.
In this inconspicuous product we can also find flavonoids, which stimulate the secretion of bile which facilitates digestion.
If our diet is rich in complete protein (i.e., protein that contains all the essential amino acids – mainly of animal origin: meat and eggs, appropriate vitamins, micro and macro elements) we can improve the activities of fibroblasts in the production of strong collagen.
Also very important in the synthesis of collagen is a sufficiently large dose of vitamin C, A, E, PP ie B3, B5 and elements such as zinc, silicon, iron, copper.
Most of these products and ingredients have a beneficial effect not only on improving the condition of the skin, but also on the quality or growth of hair and nails. These include vitamins A, C, D, E, H and the entire group of B vitamins (B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, B3), trace elements, silicon and selenium.
It is very important that we remember proteins, because they contain sulfur amino acids (cystine, cysteine and methionine), which are necessary for the formation of keratin – a protein that builds the structure of hair and nails, as well as the stratum corneum. If you want beautiful hair and nails, it’s worth including silicon-rich foods, such as porridge and cereals, in your diet.
When we make the following changes to our nutrition, make sure to minimize stress and fatigue, incorporate physical activity into our daily lives, and support all of these elements with skin care treatments our skin will not be strong! 🙂
Number 1 in skin firming is the diathermy device, the medically certified RF Diathermy LavaTRON LVT-250. In the case of facial skin, it works on the principle of an oven, which uses radiofrequency energy to heat collagen fibers and thus twist the spirals from which collagen is built. This shortens them and pulls up sagging skin. The skin becomes tighter, firmer and visibly smoother.
