The beginning of the year is a time for summaries, reflections and plans for the coming year. When we look back, we find that we can consider the past year a successful one! Judge for yourself 🙂
12 „Grandmothers After Hours” meetings
This is a project, organized by the FBI Agents of Face and Body Institute together with friendly companies or organizations.
We meet, every third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at 4/1 Starowiślna Street in Cracow.
We touch on topics related to the care of our generally named beauty, but we „root” it in our health and well-being. Hence we invite psychologists, coaches, doctors, personal trainers, hairdressers, travelers and even paramedics to our meetings:)
During the meetings, our cupcakes have the opportunity to draw useful and inspiring knowledge, test cosmetic and even aesthetic medicine treatments on their own skin, and win attractive and valuable prizes 🙂
2 editions of „Cancer doesn’t hurt. Get tested and live!”
Skin cancer prevention action „Cancer doesn’t hurt. Get tested and live!” organized by the Face and Body Institute is held twice a year. In April, on Melanoma Day, and after the vacations. Each year the campaign increases its reach and allows for even more effective prevention. Each year the Institute finances a pool of free skin nevus examinations, but also, during this year’s April – 10th edition, participants could take advantage of advice from other specialists: a trichologist, psychologist, oncologist or nutritionist. The event was also accompanied by lectures, educational workshops and meetings with people who have won the fight against the disease.

In the fall of 2015, as part of our campaign, we screened, free of charge, as many as 100 patients for the exclusion of skin cancer!
Learning first aid
At the beginning of 2015, the entire FBI Agents team was trained in First Aid according to the American Heart Association procedure, by the Max Harter team. As a result, on October 16 we were able to join in breaking the record in giving CPR by as many people as possible, at the same time, all over Poland. The action was organized as part of the „We save and teach to save” project of the WOŚP Foundation.

Education
However, our greatest joy and pride is the knowledge we gained in 2015. The number of trainings and industry conferences we attended will be hard for us to count.
Guarding the development of FBI Agents is our Medical Consultant and subject supervisor Agnieszka Gomolinskaya. She has made the decision that science will be her life path. She is one of those people who ask both others and herself the most difficult questions, thanks to which, she finds answers to even the most mysterious issues in cosmetology and aesthetic medicine. One of her favorite activities, is to check and test the novelties that the Beauty and Wellness world and the media offer us, in order to eliminate the KITS they want to deceive us with. As a result, there are proven gems in the FBI’s offerings. As Agnieszka says , „As a person reaching 40, I am looking for a way to age in such a way that is not burdened with bad shape, real estate, pain and poor skin – I am beginning to learn the secret art of healthy- aging, and it is to this that I will give my time and heart in 2016.”
We are bursting with pride when we look at the list of achievements in 2015 of our Agent Agnieszka Gomolinskaya 🙂
– On 14.11 this year, the 32nd International Congress and Cosmetic Fair LNE & spa took place. Agnes, for the second time, was invited to the group of distinguished lecturers. This time specialists discussed new technologies used in the cosmetologist’s office. The lecture hall accommodated as many as 750 people!
– From the 3rd edition of the CONGRESS OF AESTHETIC COSMETOLOGY, held in Warsaw, Agnieszka brought us novelties in the field of medical peels, the so-called chemical resurfacing of the face, treatments that stimulate the natural processes of skin renewal and regeneration, and, of course, new research on the use of the well-known and ultra-effective carboxytherapy. Aesthetic medicine and cosmetics is a fledgling faction of medicine, and it’s all about „not throwing the baby out with the bathwater” in rejuvenation 🙂
– As every year, Agnieszka attended Dr. Ignacyuk’s Aesthetic Medicine Congress, due to her unrelenting desire to answer the question „How to make a person healthy and live in psycho-physical comfort?” and the mission of the Medical FBI. This time Agnieszka appeared at the meeting in a new form – as a journalist on behalf of the largest trade magazine LNE.

– Thanks to Agnieszka Gomolinskaya’s participation in the year-long Healthy Aging course, we learned about the myriad of amazing connections in our bodies. What do the intestines have to do with the condition of our skin? Seems impossible, right? Thanks to this knowledge, in the last year we have been able to diagnose many strange ailments: ACNE, HYPERPIGMENTATION, ACNE AFTER THE AGE OF 30. We announce – this will be the beginning of a new era in taking care of a person „from the inside”.

However, that’s not all. Analyzing the course of 2015, we made a difficult but extremely important decision for us. We want to use the knowledge we have gained and develop even more vigorously, but for this we need more space. Therefore, from the services we offer, we have removed the mani&pedi department, in favor of treating skin problems. You can learn more about these changes here:
