Relief and aesthetics from the first treatment
Therapeutic pedicure is a basic podiatry treatment that aims to both improve the aesthetics of the feet and provide significant relief in everyday functioning. The treatment includes proper shortening and cleaning of the nail plate and removal of excess keratinized epidermis on the feet. During the procedure - using professional tools such as a milling machine, scalpel and chisel - the specialist removes hyperkeratosis, i.e. corns, calluses and corns. The treatment ends with peeling and the application of specialized care preparations tailored to the individual needs of the skin. At Face and Body Institute, we perform therapeutic pedicures in conditions of complete sterility and comfort - taking care not only of the health but also of the well-being of our patients.
The treatment is safe and has no contraindications in healthy people. In the case of serious systemic diseases or active infections, we recommend prior specialist consultation.
Therapeutic pedicure is best performed regularly - on average every 4-6 weeks - to maintain the health and aesthetics of the feet. We adjust the frequency individually, depending on the condition of the skin and nails and any pathological changes.
