Laser hair removal – permanent hair removal

Permanent hair removal using modern laser technology

What does the procedure involve?

Laser hair removal is an effective method of permanent hair removal, which involves introducing a beam of light into the skin. The laser energy is absorbed by melanin - the pigment present in the hair bulb - and converted into heat. It is the high temperature that destroys the hair follicle and its matrix, which is responsible for hair regrowth. The result is a gradual and permanent reduction in the amount of hair.nnAt the Face and Body Institute, we use the highest quality medical lasers:nnThe diode laser from Cocon Medical is characterized by high operating power and Ultra Short Pulse technology, which allows operation with very short pulses - from 3 ms. Thanks to this, the hair follicles are precisely heated to a temperature that destroys the hair structure, without damaging the skin. An advanced cooling system ensures comfort even on larger body surfaces.nnLumenis laser - technology from a world leader with over 50 years of experience. It offers a wide range of wavelengths and pulse personalization options, which allows you to adapt the therapy to all skin phototypes - including darker ones. The unique Smooth Pulse™ technology and ChillTip™ cooling make treatments exceptionally comfortable even on sensitive parts of the body.

We recommend 6-8 treatments at 4-8 week intervals, depending on the body area. After completing the series, the effects last for many months, and any maintenance treatments are performed 1-2 times a year.nnPreparation for the treatment: shave the treatment area 8-12 hours before the visit, moisturize the skin regularly, do not use peelings and exfoliating creams for 7 days before the treatment.
