Neck and Cleavage Rejuvenation

Neck and décolletage rejuvenation – regeneration, firming and consistency with the face

A well-cared-for face is not everything – a truly harmonious aesthetic result is achieved only when the neck and décolletage look equally fresh, firm and radiant. Unfortunately, these areas age faster than the face – and yet are rarely included in regular care or aesthetic treatments. As a result, this is where laxity, wrinkles, the "Venus necklace", loss of tone and uneven tone/hyperpigmentation appear earliest.

At Face and Body Institute we treat neck and décolletage rejuvenation as a separate therapeutic category, requiring a precise approach, tailored protocols and knowledge of the anatomy of these exceptionally delicate zones.

How is the skin of the neck and décolletage different from facial skin? It is thin and delicate, with less collagen and elastin; almost devoid of a fatty layer – which makes it more prone to gravity; poorly hydrated and supplied with blood – so it regenerates with more difficulty; heavily exposed to UV, HEV, smog and friction from clothing; and often omitted from daily care – without SPF, hydration or exfoliation. Did you know? Horizontal neck wrinkles begin to form not only with age, but also as a result of using phones and computers – the so-called "tech neck", the aesthetic problem of the 21st century.

How do neck and décolletage rejuvenation treatments work?

The treatments in this category are selected to regenerate and firm the skin on multiple levels – not only on the surface, but also in the deep layers, where ageing processes begin.

They support: the rebuilding and reorganisation of collagen fibres; repair of tone and elasticity; cellular biostimulation and microcirculation; shallowing of horizontal neck wrinkles and smoothing of the décolletage; increased skin density and structural support; brightening of hyperpigmentation and an even tone; thermal regeneration and skin oxygenation; restored muscle tone (platysma) and an improved contour. In neck and décolletage therapy we use a pairing of physical stimuli (microneedling, heat, light), biological ones (plasma, peptides, biostimulators) and manual ones (lifting massage, lymphatic drainage) – always matched to the skin type and condition.

Treatment effects6

  • Lifting of the contour and improved jawline
  • Reduction of horizontal and vertical wrinkles
  • Improved skin density and tone
  • Smoothing, brightening and an even tone
  • Visible rejuvenation and refreshment of the lower face and neck
  • Aesthetic consistency – face, neck and décolletage look equally young

Indications6

  • For people over 30 who want to act preventively and avoid laxity
  • For those with lost elasticity of the neck and décolletage skin
  • For horizontal neck and décolletage wrinkles and loss of tone
  • For skin with signs of photoageing: spots, roughness, uneven tone
  • After rapid weight loss or a drop in estrogen (menopause)
  • In combination with facial treatments – for a complete, consistent anti-ageing effect

What sets our neck and décolletage programme apart?

At Face and Body Institute we don't work to a template. Instead of "doing the face and a bit of the neck on the side", we approach this area as a separate therapeutic zone.

We use, among others: thermal stimulation of the deep skin layers and fascia; microneedling with controlled regeneration; 448 kHz radiofrequency for tissue regeneration; biostimulating and regenerating therapies using autologous preparations; mesotherapy with peptides or vitamins to nourish the dermis; biological peels and micro-exfoliation; and advanced manual rituals including the Japanese KOBIDO massage, which boosts circulation and improves the tone of the deep muscles. Treatments can be used singly, in a series, or as part of a larger aesthetic plan covering the face, neck and décolletage.

Does the treatment need to be repeated?

The frequency depends on the skin condition and the method – most often we recommend:

  • 3–6 treatments in a series every 2–4 weeks
  • treatments regenerating the deeper layers (e.g. microneedling RF, exosomes) every 4–6 weeks
  • maintenance treatments every 3–6 months
  • year-round prevention – also in the form of massage, care and LED therapy

Summary – aesthetic consistency begins at the neck

It is not without reason that people say "beauty ends at the décolletage". A neglected neck and décolletage can betray the age of even the most well-cared-for face. At Face and Body Institute we combine technology, biology and an aesthetic sense to restore these delicate zones to their former elasticity and freshness – for the long term, not just for a moment.
