Polylactic acid, syringes, anesthesia…beauty surgery.

Kwas polimlekowy, strzykawki, znieczulenie…operacja na miarę piękna. – Face and Body Institute

Highlights

Today a little flashback. It’s autumn outside the window, and I’m going to go back to spring, May 2014 to be exact.

Then, after a long conversation with Agnieszka (Agnieszka Gomolinskaya) and an explanation of what the procedure entails, I was again lying on a comfortable bed at the Face and Body Institute.

We are talking about the SCULPTRY procedure, i.e. facial modeling with a preparation whose main ingredient is polylactic acid. The procedure from the medical side I will not describe to you, because this has already been done very clearly by Agnieszka (I refer you to https://medyczne-fbi.pl/blog/modelowanie-twarzy-preparatem-sculptra/ ).

Before anything happened, Dr. Klaudia Zwiorek-Czech explained the entire procedure to me once again, and I was already completely calm and undergoing anesthesia.

Let me tell you about the practical side 🙂

Anesthesia, an hour with anesthetic cream on your face, with a cup of coffee, a newspaper and good music. I’ll tell you honestly that at home I rarely have time during the day or even in the evening for such relaxation 🙂

After an hour, the dr. came and started sticking needles in my face. Yes…it sounds scary, but in reality it is not like that at all. The only unpleasant feeling is an audible rasp when the needle is driven into the temple area. It is not a pain, but more of an unpleasant sound. The entire procedure takes about 20 minutes (plus an hour of anesthesia, of course). After the procedure, the face is mildly reddened, but this disappears after a few hours.

On the second day, I had an unpleasant feeling of pain when moving my jaw; as if there was something too much in the jaw area. This feeling passed after two days.

Every day after the treatment (and even several times a day) I gave myself a facial massage for a few minutes at a time. The purpose was to distribute the product evenly. This should not be forgotten, and after some time such massaging becomes a good habit.

The result of my first SCUPLPTRY: after two or three weeks, my face became less sad. I am mainly referring to the so-called valley of tears; it has diminished. As I am a rather thin person, my face sometimes gives the impression of sunkenness. After the procedure it kind of lifted, the cheeks near the cheekbones rounded out, the temples became fuller…It’s hard to describe. Just the overall impression after looking in the mirror closed in : „wow, it really works, my face is getting more beautiful”. 🙂

Of course, the sense of beauty is a very relative concept, and we ourselves know when we feel beautiful and when we lack this feeling. Because it is in our feeling (and the feeling of those around us) that our beauty is hidden. FBI was able to effectively rebuild my sense of my own beauty with a few syringes :):):):)

Warm greetings
