The 10th edition of the prevention campaign „Cancer doesn’t hurt. Get tested and live!” behind us.
Cancer is the disease of our age. Despite information campaigns, a huge part of the population does not undergo preventive examinations. The stereotype of „I won’t go to get examined because they will still find something” is unfortunately still present.
The goal of the campaign, is to create systematic and continuous education combined with preventive specialized examinations. And all in a friendly atmosphere under the care of outstanding specialists, for whom helping the patient is the most important thing.
By doing so, we achieve the most important goal. Increased awareness that cancer is a curable disease – provided early diagnosis and prevention. Another effect of the campaign is real support (especially psychological) for those facing the disease and their families. Knowledge, practical advice and guidance, psychological consultations, preventive examinations, contact with specialists and people who have fought the disease.
This year’s edition took place at Pauza in Garden, 12 Rajska Street, on Sunday, April 26.
We performed:
76 PREVENTIVE EXAMINATIONS

His message to us from 2012:
„Do not delude yourself that you are not affected by cancer.
My 21st birthday is in a few days, and I don’t wish for riches from outer space or things I can touch. I wish to feel all the flavors again, because few people realize what it means not to feel even the taste of ordinary tap water. The person who came up with the text „cancer doesn’t hurt” is slightly wrong, but what do I know. Cancer can get anyone, and not everyone knows how to fight it. Not everyone has the strength to do so, as I have seen during my stays in hospitals, clinics, etc. All a sick person needs is the support of loved ones and even strangers who will bring a smile, faith in victory and a positive attitude – they are the ones who destroy and win against cancer, medicine although also important is in second place.
Get tested and live people! I’m alive because I got tested out of stupidity :)”
3 years after that day: He leads the band I Was Born Twice as a leader/mentor in which he is also a vocalist, trains mixed martial arts, also does filming such as music videos, commercials and tattooing 🙂
Cancer is not a verdict – just need to get tested to detect it as early as possible
!!!

While parents were doing research and educating themselves, the little ones were being taken care of by the Terefere Children’s Club🙂
The entire event was led by Matthew Rosol, a young and ambitious activist, a man of action, who is embarking on a three-month hitchhiking trip around Europe on July 1 to help kids realize their dreams. You can follow his successes on Road to Dreams🙂
Thank you all very much for your presence, thanks to you we know that what we are doing makes sense and we have a lot of energy for more such events 🙂
I know…I’m not afraid…I do my research…I live a healthy and happy life 🙂
