The Asclepion vascular laser is a highly specialized, medical vascular laser intended exclusively for the treatment of vascular lesions and erythema on the face and body. It emits light with a wavelength of 577 nm, which corresponds to the range of yellow visible light - most effectively absorbed by oxyhemoglobin, a dye contained in blood. The treatment involves precisely directing a beam of light into the dilated vessel. The absorbed energy turns into heat, which causes the blood vessel to constrict and close. Additionally, yellow laser technology allows selective damage to the blood vessel without disturbing the surrounding tissues, which significantly reduces the risk of irritation and accelerates healing. The ability to adjust the spot diameter and the use of a scanning head allow for very precise and safe work - both on the face and body. Why a yellow laser? The 577 nm wavelength (yellow) is most effectively absorbed by oxyhemoglobin, which makes this laser ideal for the treatment of blood vessels and erythema. For comparison, the traditional KTP laser (532 nm) works shallower and more superficially, and Nd:YAG lasers (1064 nm) require much higher energies and are less selective. The yellow laser ensures the highest effectiveness with the lowest risk of side effects - without unnecessary overheating of the skin.
