The Skin Simply Nutrition enzymatic therapy is a ritual that rebuilds the skin's condition and fits perfectly into the whole-person approach to care used at Face and Body Institute. As one of the elements of tailored Beauty Plans, this treatment is based on biochemically active natural ingredients and powerful nutrients – chosen to stimulate cellular energy, regeneration and tissue cleansing.
The treatment begins with the application of an enzymatic peel that gently removes dead epidermal cells without irritating the skin. Next, a specialist mask stimulating lymphatic circulation is applied, directed manually along the path of the lymph nodes. This produces lymphatic drainage, oxygenation of the skin and removal of impurities from the intercellular space.
The treatment produces a so-called "plasma map" effect – a momentary dilation of the capillaries under osmotic pressure and stimulation – indicating increased transport of oxygen and nutrients deep into the skin. After a dozen or so minutes the redness disappears and the complexion becomes noticeably tightened, oxygenated and radiant.
The treatment is also safe for pregnant women and people with sensitive and vascular skin. It is part of detoxifying protocols, preparation for invasive procedures, or an element of anti-ageing care.
