Happiness in 20 minutes!

Seriously. To some of you Dear Readers, it may seem impossible or silly for me to talk brazenly about happiness after one treatment, but it is! On Wednesday, September 17, my dream came true, and making dreams come true is always a happy time, right? (I warn you in advance that the text will be longer because I want to tell exactly how it was, and I generally talk a lot) 😉

I arrived at the Face and Body Institute with my Husband and the documentarian of the whole incident in one – Maciej at. 18:30. As a greeting, my makeup was washed off my nose and its area (from the space between the colors up to the lip line), and then the dear girls – Ms. Ania, and then a second time Ms. Karolina (hugging you dear ladies!) applied anesthetic ointment – EMLA – to the whole area. The next hour, because that’s how long it took in total for the anesthesia before the procedure, was spent talking to the ladies and jointly persuading Maciek for some treatment (Maciek made an appointment with the wonderful Mrs. Ola, who saves his back).

When the hour from the anesthesia hit, my nose was so numb that I felt like I didn’t have one at all (I didn’t want to change it that much ;)), and my stomach hurt from nerves like before my high school graduation. And then the doctor came in. From the very threshold she greeted me with such a disarming smile that at the first moment I forgot that I was afraid 😉 Of course, I quickly reminded myself of this, but there was no time to escape, because I was already lying on the bed in the office. And here’s a correction. I wanted to say that I WAS NOT Scared of the PAIN (because I know how sensitive the nose is, for pain I was prepared) but I was scared of HOW I WILL LOOK AFTER the procedure. From the Doctor I knew what was going to happen and what changes were going to take place, but still, it was my nose so the stress was there 😉 The very thought that a large, crooked nose after fracture and surgery could be optically prettier and even smaller after ADDING PREPARATION to it (!) was beyond me. But that’s what trust is given to people who know what they are doing, and Dr. Klaudia Zwiorek-Czech is definitely the person in the right place.

The procedure itself just took about 20 minutes. Below I upload the photos. You can see the needle, the blood, the stuff….

The doctor started by injecting Surgiderm 24 xp into the dorsum of the nose (you can find information about this product on its manufacturer’s website http://www.allergan.pl/Produkty/Medycynaestetyczna.aspx, among others). Here the pain was practically imperceptible. I felt the insertion of the needle as resistance on the skin, the introduction of the preparation not at all. The places that were painful, but enough so that despite the pain I know I will become friends with this method of correction, was the injection of the tip and the root of the nose. Here it was baking/painful. I don’t know what to call it, but pleasant it was not. During the whole procedure I was most afraid that I would sneeze with the needle in my nose and there would be trouble, but the doctor saw perfectly when I could no longer stand the sneezing. I sneezed and was better 🙂

When the procedure was finished and I saw myself in the mirror I was a little weak. My nose was red, I had a bruise in the middle of it (it was small, but ON MY NOSE!) and I generally thought to myself WHY WAS IT A BABO! The doctor, probably seeing my scowling face, shasta prast and painted my nose with bb cream, which covered the reddish-tinged spots. And then I saw it. My new nose! As if a little shorter, symmetrical and without a hooked end. I was enchanted. Until I hugged the doctor. She wasn’t surprised, I don’t think I was the first one who reacted that way 🙂

For the next few days, my nose was kind of numb, plus the day after the procedure I felt it was swollen. On Sunday (which is the 4th day after the procedure everything subsided). A week after the procedure, I have another appointment where, after the swelling goes down, we will check to see if anything else needs to be injected somewhere.

Now I am in love with it. Under the treatment and work of Dr. Klaudia Zwiorek-Czech I sign with both hands. Yes, in 20 minutes you can make your dreams come true
