For generations, our great-grandmothers, grandmothers, mothers, aunts were told that a husband and children would be what would give us a sense of fulfillment – it was almost the only life scenario available. Times have changed, today what makes us feel valuable can be our loved ones, our careers, our achievements on the social ladder, and more recently even the spiritual path we choose. We women have had several generations of training in looking outward for our fullness, value and love. How often do you hear from other women that they recognize themselves as perfect and valuable just the way they are. Rarely? Never? And how often do you say that to yourself? <\/span><\/p>\n For many years of my life I had the feeling that I was not good enough, valuable enough. Like a moth, I crashed through walls in the dark in search of my own value outside myself. <\/span><\/p>\n I had different ideas about this: „maybe if I have a socially recognized job, a high position in a well-known company; if I earn a great salary, if I buy my own apartment, if I am in a relationship with a man who is valuable in my opinion, if I am nice and others like me, if…, if…, if…, then I will be good enough”. Step by step I exchanged some ideas for others, time passed, and the value in my own eyes did not increase. <\/span><\/p>\n Ok, I thought, something isn’t working here, I’m carrying out my plans, but I keep coming back to the same place: engaging in activities that don’t give me drive, entering into relationships where I repeat the same pattern, often waking up in the morning with the same sense of longing and meaninglessness, despite years of developmental and spiritual practices. That’s when I realized that what I’m looking for doesn’t exist somewhere outside, a sense of value isn’t drifting in space waiting for me to grab it; that inner silence and peace, filled with love and fulfillment are already inside me, I am it, I just haven’t allowed myself to discover Myself until now. <\/span><\/p>\n Everything I’m looking for is already inside me, <\/span>I am what I am looking for. I am good enough, perfect enough, just the way I am <\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n It sounds obvious, but it took me a lot of time and experiences before I discovered this truth: <\/span>I am good enough just the way I am<\/b>. Discovering it is one thing, while living that truth is another, and is an ongoing challenge and process for me. The first step is to let go of the drive to be „good” or „perfect” and accept what I am now, where I am now, and to love myself just the way I am. It’s finding love and acceptance within myself that brings much more joy and conscious presence into my life. It’s my private feminine evolution, day by day, moment by moment, step by step, it’s a long and beautiful process of being authentic to myself, listening to my inner voice and discovering my feminine power – intuition. <\/span><\/p>\n Or maybe you too believe that you are not good enough and have tried many times to look for your value in life outside yourself? Maybe you also struggle with recognizing yourself and your feminine power, maybe you want to hear your inner voice, but don’t know how to do it? Maybe you’d like to have more authentic fulfillment in your life, to be more aware and present every day… Yes? Maybe it’s a sign that it’s time for a feminine evolution in your life too? That’s great, we are one of many. <\/span><\/p>\n Look around, we have more and more meetings and development workshops for women, a growing need to be together, in women’s circles, to go deeper into ourselves and our feminine being. This means that there is a need and readiness in us women to turn again to ourselves and seek value in ourselves, in the supportive presence of other women. It’s like a collective developmental step, taken by women all over the world. We are shedding our suffering, self-sacrificing pained layers, marked by war and persecution, a sense of powerlessness and dependence. We also no longer want to fight for equality with men, no longer want to replace them, dominate them. We are discovering our true feminine nature and power, full of love, compassion, sensitivity and inspiration. And we are not ashamed of it. We come to understand that we women are perfect just as we are, just as men are perfect in their essence. We are for each other and complement each other and at the same time we cannot replace each other. When we realize how many women are in this process of finding their way to Self and inner worth, we immediately become bolder and more courageous in our personal inner journey. <\/span><\/p>\n This inner evolution and transition from being others-focused, to being inward-focused, takes quite a bit of courage. Of course it is easier to follow what is familiar and common, seemingly safe and familiar…. <\/span><\/p>\n When I made the decision to shift my attention inward and start listening to my inner voice, instead of the chaos of orders, prohibitions, schemes and expectations from my surroundings, I didn’t have a ready-made recipe, a prescription, a guide to tell me how to do it, I still don’t have anything like that. At that time, my way was to go on a journey and break away from the reality I was living in. I made a radical decision to leave my job and familiar friendly surroundings, left my family and friends and went on a trip to Asia for several months, with enthusiasm for being a single woman on the road. At the time, I felt that this was what I needed, this was my path to discovering the Self I had never really known and connecting with my true self. Each of us has our own path, our own way. It’s a process we have to go through individually though not at all alone. <\/span><\/p>\n I chose to do so because I had a need to break away from the patterns of thinking and living that I knew, to get a better feel for what is mine and what is imposed by Western society or the expectations of loved ones. I wanted to break my thinking patterns: what is easy, what is difficult, what is possible, what is impossible, what is valued, what is valuable. I went to India and couldn’t have chosen better – my first stop was South Goa. It was an overwhelming experience. I jumped from orderliness to chaos, from predictability and planning, to unpredictability, where a plan is unnecessary; from clearly established rules to everything somehow flowing in the name of an undefined principle of trust in the Universe. I jumped from the city to the edge of the jungle, from winter to summer, from work to no-work, from an individualistic society to a collectivistic one…. <\/span><\/p>\n In this environment, I was able to feel almost naked, stripped of the culture in which I had grown up and lived, without the Western schemes and expectations pushing against me. Step by step, I was discovering who I was, what my needs were, getting to know myself by observing myself in new situations. I met other women explorers-travelers and discovered my feminine power. Here it was easier for me to be authentic with myself. <\/span><\/p>\n Each of us has a means of transportation and a route on this journey to ourselves. It’s a journey we make alone, but we don’t have to make it alone. After all, for thousands of years in tribes and villages around the world, women have come together to share, listen, learn, support each other. This is our nature, shamans, witches, healers. When we Women come together and share experiences and experiences, we connect with the spirit of this intergenerational wisdom and the bonds that activate between us energize us. This makes it all the more sad that today, so many of us, feel isolated and alone, cut off from the support of other women, that we don’t even take the risk of taking the journey into ourselves. <\/span><\/p>\n These observations, personal experiences and searches, inspired me, along with another seeking Woman – Eve, to organize meetings for us Women. We invite Women who feel the inner call to discover themselves, their fullness and power, and have the courage to follow it, to be together in one place and time. <\/span><\/p>\n We invite you to come together in a space that was and is very transformative for both of us, we invite you to Goa. We meet here to start or continue together the process of discovering and accepting who we really are and what we really want, discovering our value. The next step is to assimilate this knowledge and create our external reality based on who we really are. <\/span><\/p>\n This is our response to the new evolution movement beginning around the world among women, when we take a step forward by turning our attention from the outside world to ourselves and discovering what is authentic, beautiful, unique in us.<\/span><\/p>\n We called the project <\/span>„My Goa”.<\/b>, because a visit here is a very individual, beautiful experience for everyone. Each person who comes here discovers „Their Goa” and experiences the adventure in their own way. The friendly fauna, the lush flora, the Indian culture, the people and experiences so different from those of Europe; the joie de vivre, the succulence; all beautiful and friendly, accepting.
