Dissolving the hyaluronic acid

In the event of incorrect application of hyaluronic acid, hypercorrection or any other adverse effects, hyaluronic acid can be dissolved using an enzyme known as hyaluronidase.
The treatment consists in injecting a small dose of hyaluronidase directly into the deposit (lump) that has formed after the administration of hyaluronic acid. The acid may occasionally be dissolved during one visit, but normally a series of two to three treatments is required.
